X-Treme Dance Studio

  2018-2019 Fall/Spring Program

Classes will begin Tuesday, September 4, 2018 (no class will be held on Friday September 7, 2018)

*All age guidelines are suggestions only, students will be placed by skill level either during our open house free trial classes or during the first few weeks of class. (returning students should refer to their placement card for guidelines on which level to begin this season). Once you complete a registration form we will guide you on which level to place your child in based on their experience, age, and desired dance style.

*Our studios are equipped with cameras for your peace of mind to allow families the opportunity to observe their children during class while sitting in the lobby.

*Please be sure to read our full studio policy for prices and so you know exactly what to expect during your stay at X-Treme Dance Studio.

*Dancewear is available for purchase through our studio or families may use another dance supply company as long as all dress code requirements are met.

*Schedules are subject to change. If a class you have registered for has been changed we will notify you via e-mail immediately.

Be sure to list which style you would like to register for.

Dance is contagiously fun and our dancers have the opportunity to explore the diversity of movement through each style of dance. Studies show that when children are exposed and are able to explore art education early they experience the positive impact throughout their lives. Improved self-confidence, heightened problem-solving, and higher academic scores are just a few benefits from exposure to the arts.

Our little ones, ages 2 to 5 years old, learn to develop coordination, explore themselves creatively, and develop concentration and focus which all provides them a strong foundation for future dance disciplines. All introductory and level 1 classes will cover basic dance terminology and our intro classes will explore various dance genres with the emphasis still on play to prepare them for more structured classes to come beginning in level 1. Our level 1 classes will begin exploring specific dance genres to build the students skill level and confidence in that style of dance. Our higher level dance classes teach self-expression through dance technique fundamentals. Students learn to appreciate and recreationally enjoy movement, musicality, rhythmical awareness, and establish a larger dance vocabulary. Classes are offered in ballet, tap, jazz, and hip-hop.
All students will participate in our annual recital at the end of the season and will have the opportunity to participate in other events that X-Treme Dance Studio joins.  Both of these beginning levels of dance will be a part of our annual recital at the end of the dance season.

Registration is closed for this program until spring 2019
